JGlobal - Avalon
The Avalon Framework
Avalon is an open source framework from the Apache group. It serves
as the underlying structure for many of our projects and applications. Avalon
provides a highly flexible and configurable component management framework, where
components are managed externally, by their container. This ensures
flexibility and aids in security, while at the same time making alternate
implementations of the same service easy to add. This keeps all of our development
options open, while at the same time providing a pre-built structure for many
of the common development services required by our applications.
